Introducing the XMTP Switchboard:
A global network of physical spaces where anyone building on XMTP can work, meet, host pop ups, and connect IRL — anywhere in the world.
Our network is global and built online. We wanted places where we could actually get together in person. So, in partnership with The Malin and other local operators, we’re opening 23 Switchboard offices in 12 cities around the world. These are shared spaces where anyone building on XMTP, both our team and our community, can show up, work alongside other builders, and connect together. The only requirement: you’re building on XMTP.

The Switchboard is open to active builders working on or seriously exploring building with XMTP — including chat apps, agents, mini apps, infrastructure, and tooling.
Across ecosystems like World, Base, Zora, Privy, Turnkey, ENS and beyond.
If you’re building on or seriously exploring XMTP and want to collaborate with other high-signal builders — digitally and IRL — this is for you.
The XMTP Switchboard is how we work too. This is the XMTP Labs office. We have a global team and the most important thing is being able to get together IRL all over the world.

Why we’re doing this
A lot changed after 2020. Work went remote, communities went global, and most of our conversations moved online.
That unlocked a new way to work. But we also lost the easy, natural way to spend time together in person — not just with coworkers, but with the global community we’ve been building online.
We talk all the time online, but the strongest connections still form offline. That’s where trust builds, collaboration feels easier, and new ideas tend to start.
The XMTP Switchboard exists to make that kind of time together more possible. It gives our community real places to meet, work, and get to know each other — not just for conferences or big moments, but as part of everyday building.
When we spend time together in person, the work gets sharper, the relationships get deeper, and the whole network compounds.
